Pet groomers usually work in kennels, shelters, pet stores, veterinary facilities and pet owners’ homes. Their main duty is maintaining Pets’ physical appearance. The pet grooming process involves brushing and cutting the fur, clipping nails, cleaning ears, bathing, drying and finally styling the fur.

Pet grooming Lean by stages :

Stage 1-

₹: 15,000-20,000

Wash, Nails Clipping, Ear Cleaning, Brushing, Drying, Combing, Skin Check Up, Ticks & Fleas Check, and handling.

· Day 1-7- Trainee goes on the job with the senior works on field, understands the work process, know about the tools to use, and tools maintenance.

· Day 8-15 Trainee starts working in the direction of the senior as a helper.

· Day 16 Inspection done by the manager.

· If test is not clear, keep practicing until you clear

Stage 2–

₹: 40,000-50,000

Full shave with clippers, Clipper, and blade maintenance, Scissors Holding, and practice.

· Day 31-40 Practice full Shave, Clipper maintenance, and Scissors holding, and cutting practice under the direction of the senior.

· Day 41 – Full Shave test by Manager if pass move to the next stage.

· If test is not clear, keep practicing until you clear

Stage 3–

₹: 60,000-80,000

Pedicure, Face hair trim, sanitary cut, de-matting, de-shedding.

· Day 61-70 working with senior to know the how much hair has to be cut on face, sanitary area, pedicure, de-matting, de-shedding.

· Day 71-80 practice with the senior.

· Day 81 test with manager if pass move to stage 4 or keep practicing with the senior until he pass the test.

Stage 4–

₹: 90,000-100,000

Standard Haircut for hairy dogs/cat like Lhasa, Shih Tzu, Maltese, golden retriever, Chow Chow Etc.

· Day 82-99 working with senior know about slandered haircut process, and practice.

· Day 100 Test with manager.

· Day 101-150 working alone on the field, helper will be provided when needed.

· If test is not clear, keep practicing with the senior until you clear the test.

Stage 5–

₹: 120,000-150,000

Stylish Haircut for dogs/cat, hair color, hair treatment, Hair ironing, for pets like- Poodle, Doodle, Yorkshire, Maltese, Schnauzer, and Havanese Etc.

· Day 151-160 working with senior

· Day 161-199 practicing with senior

· Day 200 Final Test with the Manager

· If test is not clear keep practicing with the senior until you clear the test.
